Fossicking day

Had a great time at Pat's Place fossicking today. For $10 you get a bucket of what looks like dust, wash it and search through and hopefully find a sapphire to two. They tell you how to do it and someone checks you as you go along to make sure your not throwing any thing valuable away. We spent about 3 hours going through the bucket, stopped for a coffee and then had lunch before we left. Pat's Place has a good reputation for food.

Now have to search through to find some Sapphires

Lunch, Fish and Chips for me, Bacon and Egg burger with hash browns for Brian

At the end we had Pat check our stones, these are all Sapphires but the two in the right are big enough to be cut and could be made into a ring or pendant. So we are happy with that.
