We have headed back down to the coast as the forecast is for sunnier weather, we are camped at Marengo caravan park, just outside Apollo Bay, the c/park at Apollo bay was $40 a night but here $30, nice caravan park, on a headland overlooking the bay, I can hear the surf from the beach, we arrived about lunch time and after set up and a flat battery, oops left the ignition on, headed into Apollo Bay for lunch, no cheap pub meals here so we headed to a food court and had chicken and chips, I saved some of my chicken for Bentley who was resting in the car.
Haven't had tv reception for a while and have missed about 3 episodes of Downton Abbey, will have to buy the DVD I think,
Tomorrow we plan to drive up the coast to Lorne for coffee and drive back taking in the sights.
Tea tonight is left over chow Mein that Thelma, my thermomix made last night
Looks a little overcast in Apollo Bay. Hope the weather is sunny tomorrow and the water sparkles for you. Look out for the house on the pole on your drive to Lorne. X x x x
ReplyDeleteOn your drive tomorrow ........try stopping into Wye River. I think that it is there that the wild birds land on your outstretched arms and eat seed out of your hands. Really cool ! The road they are is west of the general storenup a slight hill..........I think it is there anyway :-)x x
